Botox
Botox is a substance derived from botulinum toxin that works by preventing nerve impulses from reaching the muscle, causing the muscle to relax. Botox injections are one of the most popular cosmetic treatments in the world. Celebrities like Madonna, Kylie Minogue and Liz Hurley are rumoured to be keeping the wrinkles at bay this way.
In small doses, Botox works by paralysing the muscles of the face which are used in frowning and raising the eyebrows. When these muscles relax, the fine lines and wrinkles smooth out. Injections take effect about three to seven days after treatment and the effect lasts three or four months. With repeated treatments, atrophy or thinning of the muscles occurs, which produces longer lasting results. Botox may be unsuitable for use around the mouth as the muscles there are important for facial expressions and eating.
Breast Implants
A breast implant is a prosthesis used in cosmetic surgery to enhance the size and shape of a woman's breasts (known as breast augmentation) or to reconstruct the breast (for example, after a mastectomy, or during male-to-female sex reassignment surgery). There are four types of breast implant: *Saline-filled, which have a silicone shell filled with sterile saline liquid. These implants are currently the only ones available in the United States.
Breast Lift
Most women find that their breasts begin to sag and droop as they get older. A breast lift (mastopexy) is an operation to raise and re-shape your breasts.
Breast Nipple Procedures
Nipple reconstruction is usually intended for women who had to lose their nipple to a mastectomy or lumpectomy, and may be performed at the time of breast reconstruction, or as a follow-up procedure. Nipple reconstruction can also benefit post-burn victims. The protruding nipple shape is often molded with a flap of skin on the reconstructed breast. For reconstruction of the areola, skin is often taken from other body parts, and then tattooed once healing is complete to match the color of the natural areola.

Acne Scarring
Acne is a skin condition that affects up to 80% of people in their teens and twenties, and up to 5% of older adults. While many people recover from acne without any permanent effects, some people are left with disfiguring acne scars. There are some topical skin care products and medications that can improve mild scarring, but most acne scars are treated with a combination of surgical procedures and skin resurfacing.
Age Spots
Age spots are flat brown-black spots that usually occur in sun-exposed areas of the body. They are also called Liver spots.
Causes, incidence, and risk factors
Liver spots are changes in skin color associated with older skin. The increased pigmentation may be brought on by aging, exposure to sun or other forms of ultraviolet light, or other unknown causes.
Liver spots are extremely common after the age of 40. They occur most often on the backs of the hands, on the forearms, shoulder, face, and forehead, areas of highest sun exposure.
They are harmless and painless, but they may affect the cosmetic appearance. Occasionally, liver spots may obscure the diagnosis of skin cancers.
Anti-Wrinkle Treatment
Anti Wrinkle treatment is normally injected into your skin..A tiny amount of the wrinkle treatment substance is injected into the muscle that creates the dynamic (or movement) wrinkle. When the substance is injected into a muscle, it blocks the nerve impulse from reaching that area, and as a result, the muscle relaxes. As the muscle relaxes, the dynamic wrinkle overlying the muscle is smoothed away.
The anti-wrinkle treatment substance is administered using a very fine sterile disposable syringe and a fine-gauge needle to inject into the muscle. The number of injections required varies depending upon what part of the face is being treated.
