Acne is a skin condition that affects up to 80% of people in their teens and twenties, and up to 5% of older adults. While many people recover from acne without any permanent effects, some people are left with disfiguring acne scars. There are some topical skin care products and medications that can improve mild scarring, but most acne scars are treated with a combination of surgical procedures and skin resurfacing.
Active Acne
Acne afflicts everyone at some point in their lives, primarily during adolescence. For some, acne can persist as a serious problem even into adulthood. While the physical discomfort of acne differs from case to case, the psychological pain is more widespread – and long lasting.
Age Spots
Age spots are flat brown-black spots that usually occur in sun-exposed areas of the body. They are also called Liver spots.
Causes, incidence, and risk factors
Liver spots are changes in skin color associated with older skin. The increased pigmentation may be brought on by aging, exposure to sun or other forms of ultraviolet light, or other unknown causes.
Liver spots are extremely common after the age of 40. They occur most often on the backs of the hands, on the forearms, shoulder, face, and forehead, areas of highest sun exposure.
They are harmless and painless, but they may affect the cosmetic appearance. Occasionally, liver spots may obscure the diagnosis of skin cancers.
Anti-Wrinkle Treatment
Anti Wrinkle treatment is normally injected into your skin..A tiny amount of the wrinkle treatment substance is injected into the muscle that creates the dynamic (or movement) wrinkle. When the substance is injected into a muscle, it blocks the nerve impulse from reaching that area, and as a result, the muscle relaxes. As the muscle relaxes, the dynamic wrinkle overlying the muscle is smoothed away.
The anti-wrinkle treatment substance is administered using a very fine sterile disposable syringe and a fine-gauge needle to inject into the muscle. The number of injections required varies depending upon what part of the face is being treated.
